Hi guys. I have a 'moderate' addiction to wargaming, which leads me to buying in to new armies and games systems fairly easily - especially if the price is right. In the not too distant past I picked up a Cygnar army second hand from Trade Me for a very reasonable price. This is going to be a semi regular blog on the painting of this army until it's finished, or something else shiny catches my eye.

The one downside to the army was that I was going to have to strip and repaint it. Below you can see some examples of the models in their original paint scheme. Perhaps in MKIII these Trencher models will get painted...

Being the switched on guy that I am (some may say lazy) I realised after testing that the original paint scheme was not as thick as I had originally thought, so I was able to paint straight over it with little problem. I decided to go for an alternate colour scheme of earthy colours mainly using the GW Foundation colours Khemri Brown (for cloaks) and Adeptus Battlegrey for armour.

Near completion for next time I have Epic Hayley, Thorn and the Nyss Hunters. See you in part 2.

WIP Magnus the Traitor

Thanks to MKII Magnus is now pretty sweet so I felt inclined to paint the model I've had sitting around for years. I'm really happy with how the bronze came out.

A Tale of 5 Gamers - 40K

This was my final test model, and the colour scheme I've settled on. I'll be using the Blood Angels Codex. In the end Bryn made my decision for me buy choosing to build a Space Wolves army. I still haven't settled on a name at this stage.
